The Hotel Management Group (HMG) is quite fortunate to have a very experienced and competent Executive Team. Having an all-star lineup of talented professionals to lead and guide their Company is a major reason why the Hotel Management Group consistently ranks near the top of their segment in the hotel and hospitality industry. In addition to using their individual skills and talents, the HMG Executives are able to have an even greater impact on the Company’s performance by working together as a cohesive team.Each member of the Executive Team would struggle to lead HMG forward if it were not for the excellent supporting staff that they oversee. While major decisions are ultimately made by the Executives, input from other employees is often used to make those decisions.

JOEL BIGGS, C.H.A.

Over the course of his 35 years in the hotel industry, Joel Biggs has accomplished much. He currently holds or has held the following positions.• President, Co-founder and CEO of Hotel Managers Group
• Chairman of the Board of the California Hotel & Lodging Association
• Director of the American Hotel & Lodging AssociationAlso on this dynamic leader’s resume are stints managing convention and full service properties and running franchises. His expertise is best utilized by taking advantage of his vast experience and excellent reputation in the hotel and hospitality industry. Joel Biggs main responsibility is to develop relationships and add to HMG’s portfolio of franchised, boutique and independent hotel properties.

CHARLES W. “JACK” GIACOMINI, C.H.A.

Charles Giacomini grew up in the hotel business. As a third generation hotelier, he has seen and done it all. His chief responsibilities include new projects, development and issues that affect hotel performance. Among his career achievements are:

• Chairman and Co-founder of the Hotel Managers Group
• Executive positions with Hilton Hotels
• Senior Vice President of Atlas Hotels
• General Manager of the 1,000 room Town and Country Resort and Convention Center
• Board Member of the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau
• Board Member of the Lodging Industry Association.

MICHELE DEMAYO, C.H.A.

Michele DeMayo is Executive Vice President of Hotel Managers Group. She does a superior job of overseeing all of the operational groups including Human Resources, Accounting, Risk Management, Transition Management and Employee Training.

A former student of the Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne, a highly acclaimed Swiss school and the holder of a Masters degree in Hotel Administration from UNLV, Michele Demayo is passionate about her work.

ALAN BOWLES II

A Senior Vice President of Development and Principal with HMG, Alan Bowles II is responsible for new business and the national expansion of the Company. His experience includes 10 productive years executing franchise agreements and developing properties for the Hilton Hotel.

JERRY GRUBER

The Vice President of Operations, Jerry Gruber brings abundant energy and a true passion to HMG. He is responsible for improving revenue streams by developing food and beverage sales, increasing convention business and taking advantage of all other opportunities that will benefit the Company.
